Classic Pancakes | RECIPES

Hi Guys!

Non-vegan weekends start with pancakes!

Baby Zariyah was fussy so I sat her next to us and she ended up cooking the entire meal. How’d she do?

Recipe:

  • Dry ingredients-
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • Pinch of salt 

Wet ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Create a little crater in the dry ingredient bowl and slowly pour the wet ingredients until everything is combined! Ladle one pancake at a time on medium low heat, 3 minutes on each side. When you see the bubbles, flip! This make 12 pancakes. It’s a classic pancake recipe but you can add about 1/2 cup of berries, dry fruit or any other ingredient you want to personalize it!

Vegan alternative:

  • Swap the eggs for 1 mashed banana
  • Use any plant milk (I like oat milk for this)
  • Vegan butter (I’m actually using this in the video because that’s all I have 🤪)
