Classic Pancakes | RECIPES
Hi Guys!
Non-vegan weekends start with pancakes!
Baby Zariyah was fussy so I sat her next to us and she ended up cooking the entire meal. How’d she do?
Recipe:
- Dry ingredients-
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tbsp sugar (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Wet ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Create a little crater in the dry ingredient bowl and slowly pour the wet ingredients until everything is combined! Ladle one pancake at a time on medium low heat, 3 minutes on each side. When you see the bubbles, flip! This make 12 pancakes. It’s a classic pancake recipe but you can add about 1/2 cup of berries, dry fruit or any other ingredient you want to personalize it!
Vegan alternative:
- Swap the eggs for 1 mashed banana
- Use any plant milk (I like oat milk for this)
- Vegan butter (I’m actually using this in the video because that’s all I have 🤪)
