My Epidural Free Birth Story: What No One Told Me! | STORY TIME
Hey Guys!
I’m finally sharing my epidural free birth story with you all. How I coped... the things no one told me, and my journey through the experience.
We were so blessed to have a supportive group of nurses, doctors and family to help us physically and spiritually through this experience. They were truly an answer to our prayers and I could not have done it without them.
It really got us thinking about all of the factors that lead to our positive experience of child birth and how different the experience is for thousands of women in more vulnerable countries. We came across World Vision and their 6 year initiative, “The 1000 Day Journey” to provide education and healthcare in hard to reach communities in Tanzania, Kenya, Myanmar and Bangladesh for the first 1000 days of a baby’s life. Access to nutrition and quality health care can be the difference between life and death in this very fragile first few days. There are too many cases of moms and babies getting sick or even dying from preventable complications.
With funding from the Government of Canada, World Vision is working towards ending preventable child deaths by 2030.
